About the Program:
After having completed the M.B.A. degree, accounting professionals
may find that their career pattern has been altered to the extent
that knowledge is now required in a totally new field requiring an
expertise in more than one discipline.
For example, a graduate of the M.B.A. program whose specialization
was accounting and who had successfully performed in an accounting
position may be assigned to an area needing extensive knowledge of
federal, state or local taxation. Such a student might very well
apply for the Advanced Certificate Program in Taxation.
