The Tobin College of Business provides advanced programs that cover
the full spectrum of business disciplines including Master of
Business Administration, Master of Science and Advanced
Professional Certificates programs in multiple business
fields.
The Master of Business Administration (MBA)
program provides an innovative approach to combining in-class and
experiential learning. The degree requires the completion of 36 to
54 credits depending on the student’s previous
coursework.
The Master of Science (MS) programs are designed
to meet personal career objectives in a specific discipline with
fewer broad overview courses. These rigorous programs require 30 to
36 credit hours depending on the program and prior academic
preparation.
Individual plans of study are developed for each student in
consultation with advisors and faculty in the College. The MBA and
MS programs may be completed on either a part-time or full-time
basis, and includes study in core, specialization courses and
elective courses.
Advanced Professional Certificates (APC) are
available to individuals who have completed the M.B.A. degree and
are designed to enable these students to accrue additional
knowledge or skills in another field or update and enhance skills
in their current field. A minimum of 18 credits are required for
completion of the APC. Students interested in accounting may need
up to 33 credits.
