Campus Ministry Presents Year of Faith Lecture on Vatican II

As part of our Year of Faith observation, Campus Ministry invites the St. John’s community to hear Margaret Lavin, PhD, discuss her book, Vatican II: Fifty Years of Evolution and Revolution in the Catholic Church, on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at 7:30 p.m. in St. Thomas More Church on the Queens, NY, campus.

Dr. Lavin, author and theologian from Regis College, the Jesuit School of Theology at the University of Toronto, is a dynamic and engaging speaker on Vatican II, its documents, and its important role in the New Evangelization of the Catholic Church. The presentation will be offered in three parts, each concluding with the opportunity for the audience to ask questions.

Admission to this event is free of charge. Light refreshments will be served.
