Schlossberg was the Founding Director of the Psychological Services
Division of the New York City Police Department. He has also
been the Chief Psychologist at the Port Authority of New York and
New Jersey and Chief Psychologist at the Police Department of the
City of Rye, NY. An international consultant to law
enforcement, Prof. Schlossberg was also a founder of the renowned
Hostage Negotiations Team at NYPD. He is the author of
numerous publications, including the highly acclaimed
Psychologist with Gun.
