About the Program

The Criminal Justice Leadership Program prepares graduates to enter positions of leadership in their chosen fields. Students develop a thorough understanding of the theoretical principles of modern leadership, as well as the innovative techniques needed to improve an organization’s efficiency, effectiveness and productivity. They develop the skills necessary to design, assess, implement, and evaluate policy and learn a variety of analytical approaches to problem solving and organizational decision-making to prepare them for the complex multifaceted challenges they will face as leaders. The importance of leading in an ethical manner is emphasized, and students practice the skills needed to manage ambiguous situations.
