American Pharmacists Month

St. John’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences joins other pharmacy professionals and colleagues in celebrating the second annual American Pharmacists Month. Throughout October, we will recognize members of our community and share contributions from our profession that dramatically improve patient care via the proper use of medication.

We have a number of consultation services and special events planned throughout the month. We welcome you to join with us in the celebration. Stay tuned to the event calendar at left or the related links and news at right for additional details on these upcoming activities.

The University is pleased to be part of and contribute to such a dynamic field. We extend our gratitude to our faculty, staff and students for their continued research and study.

College Affiliations
St. John’s University’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences enjoys a prosperous affiliation with both the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) and the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), two organizations indispensable to fulfilling our mission of educating young men and women entering this complex, ever-changing profession. Since 1952, St. John’s has been a member of the AACP, a national organization representing the interests of pharmacy education and educators whose commitment to excellence in pharmacy education is unparalleled. We have also enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the APhA, a leader in providing professional information and education for pharmacists that is the first-established and largest professional association of pharmacists in the United States. As we celebrate National Pharmacists Month St. John’s University is proud to recognize the essential partnership we have with these outstanding professional organizations.
