American Pharmacists Month

St. John’s Celebrates American Pharmacists Month
St. John’s University’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences joins other pharmacy professionals and colleagues in celebrating the sixth annual American Pharmacists Month. Throughout October, we will recognize members of the pharmacy community and share the contributions pharmacists have made that dramatically improve patient care via the proper use of medication.

A number of consultation services and special events are planned throughout the month. We welcome you to join with us in the celebration. Check our event calendar frequently for additional details on these upcoming activities.

St. John’s is pleased to be part of and contribute to such a dynamic and vital field. We recognize the many accomplishments of our faculty, staff, students and alumni and commend them for their continued scholarship and service to the community.

College Affiliations

St. John’s University’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences enjoys a prosperous affiliation with both the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) and the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), two organizations indispensable to fulfilling our mission of educating young men and women entering this complex, ever-changing profession. Since 1952, St. John’s has been a member of the AACP, a national organization representing the interests of pharmacy education and educators whose commitment to excellence in pharmacy education is unparalleled. We have also enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the APhA, a leader in providing professional information and education for pharmacists that is the first-established and largest professional association of pharmacists in the United States. As we celebrate National Pharmacists Month St. John’s University is proud to recognize the essential partnership we have with these outstanding professional organizations.
