The Department of Pharmacy Administration and Allied Health
Sciences (PAHS) teaches students the knowledge, attitudes and
skills required for contemporary clinical pharmacy practice.
Lectures, multisensory programs offered by the Resource Center, as
well as individual and group conferences with faculty, physicians
and preceptors, give students knowledge of the principles and
processes required to manufacture, stabilize, preserve, store and
dispense both official and non-official dosage forms. Classroom and
conference discussions offer the opportunity for students to
develop their creative talents in compounding and formulating
dosage forms.
