The Office of Continuing Professional
Education's core activities are directed toward providing
pharmacists and allied health professionals with the opportunities
to increase their knowledge and skills with value-based programs
that contribute to their professional achievement. Seminars cover a
wide variety of topics, including therapeutics, managed care,
administration and industrial development, and address topical
concerns of the practicing pharmacist. Where appropriate, these
programs are submitted for approval to the various states requiring
continuing education credits for relicensure.
A yearly highlight is the Dr. Andrew J.
Bartilucci Pharmacy Congress, which attracts over 300 practitioners
from all areas of pharmacy practice. For more information regarding
