Welcome

Welcome to the College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions
The St. John's University College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions is committed to providing its students with superlative academic programs taught by first-rate faculty. Our mission mirrors that of the University: to afford a unique college experience that blends academic study, professional training and direct experience in helping others. Our goal is to prepare our students for a rewarding career, expand their horizons and help them make a positive contribution to the world.

By seeking solutions to contemporary healthcare problems and addressing the evolving needs of clinical pharmacy practice, we groom students for advanced-level practitioner roles in a clinical setting. The College's groundbreaking social and clinical research initiatives contribute greatly to our students' scientific knowledge; we encourage scientific discovery and the application of pharmaceutical principles through a variety of programs and research opportunities.

Our teaming with other healthcare colleges helps us ensure the promotion, practice and delivery of the highest-quality healthcare services and research. We promote successful manufacturing, competency and the discovery of new knowledge and principles in the pharmaceutical manufacturing process. Furthermore, our faculty realizes the importance of communication, integration and application of biomedical knowledge - critical components in the development of healthcare professionals and scientists. By imparting this knowledge to our students, we can enable them to create effective clinical, humanistic and economic outcomes throughout the course of their careers.

As compassionate health care professionals and scientists, we are committed to serving humanity through excellence in healthcare and biomedical research. Building on our dedication to cultural diversity, our metropolitan location and our strategic alliances with leading healthcare institutions, we prepare students to serve as effective leaders, good citizens, and moral and ethical individuals.
