Faculty members need to be certified to teach fully online Online Learning and mixed mode courses at St. John’s University. Mixed mode courses are ones that substitute any online teaching for classroom-based teaching.
There are two ways to receive certification: Complete the Online Learning Pedagogy I course, OR, receive approval from a faculty committee based on the Application for Certification to Teach Online Learning Courses.
