Day of Service and Reflection for Incoming First Year
Students
Building on the core value of service embodied in St. John's
Vincentian mission, as well as the annual University
Service Day, the Law School is hosting a Day of Service and
Reflection coordinated by the
Public Interest Center. All incoming 1Ls will have an
opportunity to participate in pro bono trainings and service
projects and to learn first-hand about the Law School’s commitment
to public interest.
Trainings include:
- Consumer Debt
- Housing Court Resolution Assistance
Service projects include:
- Working with children
- Refurbishing sites through painting and cleaning
- Working with hunger and homelessness
