 Complaint Process

In compliance with the United States Department of Education’s Program Integrity Rule, all Online Learning students have a right to make a complaint.  St. John’s University students are encouraged to first follow established procedures within the University to file complaints.  Information on these procedures is available by contacting the Office of Distance Education at 718-990-2353. 

In the unlikely event that an issue cannot be resolved by the University, the student can file a complaint with their respective state licensing authority or St. John’s University accrediting body.  A listing of contact information for individual states licensing authorities is located here.

St. John’s University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.   The commission provides a complaint procedure against its accredited institutions.  The complaint procedure is located here.
