The Adoption Conferences are pleased to offer Continuing Education Units for several disciplines including:
Psychology Continuing Education Credits are available for Psychologists from the American Psychological Association (APA) through the Department of Psychology at St. John's University. This program is sponsored by the St. John's University Post Graduate Professional Development Programs. St. John's University is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education for psychologists and maintains responsibility for the program. One may select times to attend, or attend the entire conference. Continuing education credits will only be given for those workshops attended. A separate check payable to St. John's University is required. The fee is $20 for one day and $35 for attendence during both days of the conference.
Social Work We are currently working on obtaining sponsorship approval from the New York State Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.
Counseling Continuing Education Credits are available for Counselors (Mental Health Counselors, School Counselors, Licensed Professional Counselors, etc.) from the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) through the Department of Counseling and Educational Leadership at Montclair State University.
Note An administrative fee will be charged for Continuing Education Credits. Separate payment will be made to the corresponding universities through which continuing education credits are available.
