Aware of the need to develop a dynamic structure that allows for
systematic explorations of the most important issues affecting our
society, and aware of the fact that members of our society are
increasingly coming from multicultural and multiethnic societies,
St. John’s University decided to institute a conference structure
where members of the academic and professional communities and the
community at large are routinely invited to come together as part
of a conference structure to address these issues from
multicultural and multiethnic perspectives.
All our conference offerings are guided by this principle
because of our strong belief that only in this manner it is
possible for a more compressive and meaningful exploration of all
the factors likely to play a role in the issues under
discussion.
