Research
Areas of Specialization
Dr. Wallace’s research focuses on the influence of neighborhood
context and social norms on HIV risk among urban Black youth.
Her work also includes the design and implementation of
culturally-tailored interventions to promote health and health care
utilization among Black youth. In addition, she is interested
in the promotion of community consultation as a tool for addressing
ethical concerns in behavioral and mental health research with
vulnerable populations.
