Department of Psychology - A Comprehensive Overview of the New WAIS-IV - Queens Campus

October 17, 2008 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Room 277, Bent Hall, Queens campus

The Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale has been the standard for assessing cognition in teens and adults for several decades. It is routinely used in high school settings to re-evaluate special education students and to prepare for college and SAT accommodation plans.  This presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of the new 4th Edition including changes, factor analytic features, interpretive issues, and comparisons with other measures.  Case material will be incorporated in the discussions and handouts will provide useful tools for practicing School and Clinical Psychologists.
