Dr. Lauder has lectured in South Korea, Europe and South America as well as throughout the United States.  He has an international reputation as a film scholar and has had several essays on film in The New York Times.

In addition to having written more that fifteen hundred weekly (popular) essays in newspapers Dr. Lauder has written ten book and numerous scholarly articles.  Some of those articles are:
