Concentrations

A concentration must be composed of three or more closely related courses.

School Media Specialist Program
Through this program, one can gain New York State Certification as a School Library Media Specialist.

Law Librarianship
Students are also welcome to explore the new concentration offered in Law Librarianship. The Law Librarianship concentration is open to lawyers and non-lawyers and is part of the Division's ALA accredited Master's Program. For more information please visit the Law Librarianship Concentration.

Double Masters Program
Students with appropriate bio-science background and interest in a career in drug information may pursue a 57 credit Double Masters Program leading to Drug Information Specialization. Students interested in a career as Government Information Specialists may pursue a 57 credit Double Masters (M.L.S. and M.A.) within the Graduate Division of St. John's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
