Travel to Rome
All students are required to stay at ARSO, the RIID headquarters
for the first and last summer session of the M.A. All
students are responsible for their travel
expenses. The earlier you book your flight
the cheaper the fare. The Room and Board fee covers your stay
at the residence from the first day of courses until the last.
Upon arrival you will be given your room assignment and key.
Please note that the courses are intensive and this is not a
study abroad program.
Lodging
Information
For the duration of the month all
students lodge at the ARSO residence unless they live in
Rome. The residence has private single and double bedrooms,
Internet access, air conditioning, 24 hour reception, and
classrooms equipped with computers, video projectors, and
SmartBoards. There is also a large conference room and a
church. The Room and Board fee covers three full meals a day
for students in the cafeteria in the residence. More detailed
schedules are given to accepted students prior to departure to
Rome.
Please Note:
Students on scholarship will be sharing a room and will be required
to pay extra if they prefer a single room. Given the
intensive nature of the course work, we ask that students do not
travel to Rome with family member(s) or their spouse.
