The future looks very bright to Tionnei Thompson. The
fourth-year evening program student believes that St. John’s focus
on providing a diverse learning environment will have a direct
impact on the success she hopes to achieve as a lawyer in the
sports and entertainment field.
“Right now you have a growing minority population nationwide.
And that means you’re going to see more minorities going to
college, getting advanced schooling, rising to positions of
influence at an even higher rate. So you’re going to have a higher
demand for minority attorneys. More firms will be looking for
minority attorneys; you’ll start seeing many more professional
opportunities.”
