Born in Vietnam and raised in New York, Phan Alvarado was
familiar with the St. John’s School of Law and its excellent
reputation. A big part of that reputation, as she saw it, could be
attributed to the social, ethnic, and geographic diversity among
students and faculty.
“It’s really inspiring to see how the people here really embrace
and place value on the different experiences, backgrounds, and
perspectives that everyone brings. It’s not something you typically
think about when choosing a law school, but it’s absolutely a
benefit of the St. John’s experience.”
