As faculty advisor to the prosecution clinic, Professor Michael
Simons stresses the importance of solid, practical preparation for
students. As associate dean for faculty scholarship, he is equally
focused on facilitating and coordinating faculty scholarly
activities.
“The great thing about the clinical experience at St. John’s is
that there is such a variety of different clinical opportunities,
both in subject area, and also in the different settings in which
those clinics operate. The entire clinical spectrum at St. John’s
gives students a chance to experience litigation, administrative
proceedings, arbitration proceedings… they gain exposure to a wide
variety of practice areas.”
