For third-year student Josh Lieberson, participating in the
Elder Law Clinic is about more than professional development. It’s
about serving underrepresented members of the Queens community and
carrying on a mission of the School of Law for more than 80
years.
“Of course the practical experience you gain is fantastic. When
you’re working in a clinic, you are the advocate for your clients.
But the gratification you get from helping people who have very
real needs is equally important.”
