Professor Keri Gould has been a driving force behind the
recently restructured Frank S. Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute.
Under her guidance, the School of Law has achieved national
prominence, with a trial advocacy program ranked No. 1 in the
nation.
“The Advocacy Institute has been very successful over the years.
Last year our teams placed second and third in the ATLA (American
Trial Lawyer Association) and TYLA (Texas Young Lawyer Association)
national trial competitions, the two most prestigious trial
competitions in the country. The students work so hard and have a
lot of fun, and the faculty and administration are so
supportive.”
