Tina-Gaye Bernard

“Inspiring through Beauty” is a workshop designed for a wide range of women — ethnically diverse, teen-aged, collegeaged, socially disadvantaged and organized women’s groups. “Inspiring through Beauty” forms a three-word personal mantra as well as the subject of Tina-Gaye Bernard’s interactive keynote address.

A leading beauty executive and consultant, Ms. Bernard holds a Master of Professional Studies in Cosmetic and Fragrance Marketing and Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She currently serves as Director of Marketing and Sales Development at Sue Devitt Beauty. She has strengthened her expertise as an executive at various entrepreneurial firms and Fortune 500 companies. She has helped lead promotional campaigns for brands such as IZOD , Tommy Bahama Fragrances, Les Couvent des Minimes bath and body, Clinique Makeup and the Estee Lauder Companies, Inc.

Featured in the December 2009 issue of Glamour, Ms. Bernard is founder of COCOA CHiC.com — an online purveyor of ethnic beauty information — and TeenChiC, the site’s community initiative for young women. She is affiliated with Cosmetic Executive Women, Young Executives for Success and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. A native of Kingston, Jamaica, who currently resides in Brooklyn, Ms. Bernard also is involved with the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurs.
