Using Google Scholar Effectively
Kathryn Shaughnessy, University
Libraries
Google Scholar can be a useful tool for discovering literature
review gems and for sorting potential resources by frequency of
citation. With a few tweaks to “preference settings” Google
Scholar is also great for importing references into RefWorks or

and articles through the STJ Library databases/ Interlibrary Loan.
Kathryn Shaughnessy will share some research tips for getting the
most out of Google Scholar.
