St. John’s Law Student Awarded Peggy Browning Fellowship Award

Andrea Andrade 2L, from Corona, New York wins the prestigious Peggy Browning Fellowship Award

Andrea will spend her fellowship working at General Counsel's office of Teamsters Union in D.C. Andrea a double alumna of St. John’s University earned her undergraduate and graduate degree in Government and Politics.

The Peggy Browning Fund is a not for-profit organization established in memory of Margaret A. Browning, a prominent union-side attorney who was a Member of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) from 1994 until 1997. The Fund provides law students with unique, diverse and challenging work experiences fighting for social and economic justice. These experiences encourage and inspire students to pursue careers in public interest labor law.

The Peggy Browning fund relies on support from a broad-based network of individuals, organizations, unions, and law firms in order to offer such experiences to these law students. For more information  www.peggybrowningfund.org
