Brochure and Registration Form

Sponsored by the New York State Bar Association, Environmental Law Section and The Environmental Law Society of St. John's University School of Law.

Years ago the united states court of appeals, second circuit, ordered broad environmental review of a major proposed power plant that threatened storm king mountain in new york’s Hudson highlands. That decision helped lead congress to enact the national environmental policy act, mandating examination of environmental impacts by all federal agencies. After 35 years of NEPA, is it as effective as congress intended?
