The School of Law regularly hosts distinguished legal scholars,
jurists and practitioners who enrich the academic life of the
institution and help guide our students on their path to a
rewarding legal career.
In past years, Supreme Court Justices Stephen G. Breyer, Ruth Bader
Ginsberg, Anthony M. Kennedy, Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas
have spoken at law school events. Major conferences and symposia
have been held on issues ranging from the 50th anniversary of
Brown v. Board of Education to the complex legal issues
surrounding the Enron scandal to the intersection of
labors relations and professional baseball.
Members of the law school
faculty are featured in the media as expert commentators on
intellectual property, securities, criminal and labor law matters,
among others.
