The Center for Teaching and Learning

The Center for Teaching and Learning was established in April 1994 to help sustain a vital learning community on both campuses at St. John's University. The Center's purpose is to support excellence in teaching and encourage research, publications, and other scholarly and creative work produced by the University’s faculty.

In collaboration with the academic deans, the Center also provides ongoing programs and opportunities designed to strengthen faculty members’ instructional abilities and scholarly activities.

The Center is located in Bent Hall, Room 279 – 281. Appointments can be made by calling the Center at (718) 990-1861.
