The Bankruptcy Law Society (BLS) at St. John's School of Law provides students with practical knowledge of bankruptcy law. Each year, BLS sponsors the Judge Conrad B. Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition together with the American bankruptcy Institute Law Review and the Law School's Moot Court Honor Society. Schools from around the country participate in this prestigious competition. BLS also offers student membership in the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and hosts special events that feature distinguished judges and practicing attorneys who speak on current issues in the field of bankruptcy.
