The St. John’s Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law
Journal publishes articles concerning emerging, cutting-edge
and practical legal issues in the entertainment, arts and sports
industries. Coverage includes, but is not limited to the following
areas of substantive law:
- Law and Professional or Amateur Sports
- Entertainment Law
- Art and Cultural Property Law
- Contract Law
- Intellectual Property Law
- Labor and Employment Law
- Internet Law
- Constitutional law
- Anti-trust Law
- Alternative Dispute Resolution
The Journal encourages practitioners, scholars and St. John’s
law students to submit articles for consideration.
Submission Requirements
Submissions to the Journal should meet the following criteria:
- All submissions must be double-spaced in Microsoft Word
format
- Articles should conform to the current edition of The Bluebook:
A Uniform System of Citation
- Articles should be accompanied by a cover letter with your
preferred method of contact
- Articles should be accompanied by the author’s CV
- Articles and notes are limited to 8,000 words, exclusive of
footnotes
- Case comments and opinion pieces are limited to 5,000 words,
exclusive of footnotes
Electronic Submissions
Individuals interested in submitting articles to the Journal may do
so electronically. Electronic submissions may be made via ExpressO.
