Journals and Activities

The School of Law offers students a broad range of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Students have the opportunity to serve on the staffs and editorial boards of eight student-run journals, including the Law Review, Journal of Civil Rights and Economic DevelopmentAmerican Bankruptcy Institute Law Review and St. John's Journal of International and Comparative Law. Through the Moot Court Honor Society, students develop appellate advocacy skills while participating in internal and external competitions. The Frank S. Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute (PTAI) engages students in trial advocacy competitions locally and nationally. And the Law School's Student Bar Association (SBA) gives students a collective voice on issues affecting all aspects of their law school life.
