The School of Law offers students a broad range of co-curricular
and extra-curricular activities. Students have the opportunity to
serve on the staffs and editorial boards of eight student-run
journals, including the Law Review, Journal of Civil
Rights and Economic Development, American Bankruptcy
Institute Law Review and St. John's Journal of International and
Comparative Law. Through the Moot Court Honor Society,
students develop appellate advocacy skills while participating in
internal and external competitions. The Frank S. Polestino Trial
Advocacy Institute (PTAI) engages students in trial advocacy
competitions locally and nationally. And the Law School's Student
Bar Association (SBA) gives students a collective voice on issues
affecting all aspects of their law school life.
