The mission of The Securities Law Society of St. John’s
University School of Law ("the Society") is two-fold. First, the
Society aims to work with other organizations, both public and
private, in an effort to educate the investing public about
securities law.To that end, the Society will organize an annual
"Town Hall Meeting," to address questions related to securities
law.The public will be invited to attend the "Town Hall Meetings."
Second, the Society will hold at least one "think tank" session per
academic year. In that session, members will have the opportunity
to discuss various areas of securities law.
