Labor Relations and Employment Law Society

The School of Law offers a wide selection of courses in labor and employment law. The Labor Relations and Employment Law Society hosts a Speaker Series throughout the year that brings prominent members of the field to campus. In the recent past, the Society has sponsored visits from prominent figures such as AFL-CIO President John Sweeney and NLRB Chairman Peter Hurtgen. The highlight of the year is the annual Management Lawyers Colloquium, generally held early in the fall semester, which attracts over 50 prominent labor and employment attorneys. Society members meet periodically to network, exchange ideas, and plan events.
