The International Law Society (ILS) exists to promote
interest in international legal concerns and the understanding of
their impact domestically and abroad. The Society acts as
both an educational device and a social forum, in an effort to
foster interaction and discussion between law students on current
issues that affect the international legal arena. The speaker
series invites alumni and others with international legal
experience to discuss their careers or current issues of
international legal relevance. Through informed discussion,
shared experience and thinking beyond domestic law, members will be
better prepared for entry into the international legal
community. Meetings and/or speaking engagements are held on a
bi-monthly basis during the regular school year.
