The Family Law Society is an organization that was formed to
address family law issues. Family Law includes marriage and
divorce, child custody, adoption, paternity, domestic violence,
child abuse, foster care, juvenile justice, etc. The objectives of
the Family Law Society are to provide students with a practical
knowledge and understanding of Family Law; to provide a forum for
the discussion of family law issues; and to disseminate information
to students about opportunities in the field. These objectives are
to be carried out through regular meetings, guest speakers and
special events.
