Asian-American Law Students Association (AALSA)

The Asian-American Law Students Association (AALSA) was established in the spring of 1995. AALSA seeks to provide entering students with guidance for a successful transition into law school, and offers existing students support through academic and career-oriented programs. In addition, AALSA plans social activities to promote interaction and fellowship between its members, the Law School, and alumni. Ties with the Asian community outside the school are fostered through hosting seminars that feature guest speakers from various areas of practice, serving the community, and collaborating with other Asian student and professional associations. All students are welcome to participate in AALSA's programs.

2006-2007 President:  Evelyn Gong
Faculty Advisors: Professors Brian Z. Tamanaha and Elaine M. Chiu
