The objectives of the Irish-American Law Students Association
are to foster an exchange of ideas of importance to the Irish
community by focusing upon the history and politics of Ireland,
Irish culture and the Irish-American experience; to promote the
accomplishments of the Irish and Irish Americans; to facilitate the
interaction of members among themselves, the Law School and Alumni
community, and external Irish societies; and to focus attention on
issues pertaining to the Irish legal system, the impact of Irish
immigrants and Irish-Americans on the legal and political systems
of the U.S., and the contributions of Irish Law School Alumni. The
Association coordinates activities with the undergraduate Irish
Society, plans social and cultural events, and involves itself in
community charity events.
