The Catholic Law Students Association hosts lectures at the Law
School at which distinguished scholars, practitioners, community
leaders and alumni speak on contemporary trends in the law,
politics, legal ethics, jurisprudence and the natural law,
constitutional law, and legal education and how they relate to
international and domestic issues such as: population control;
euthanasia and assisted suicide; abortion and sterilization; and
foremost, the dignity of the person. Presentations are from a
wealth of non-partisan and non-denominational religious, secular,
and human rights perspectives, the goal of which is to enhance the
law student’s awareness of the responsibilities of the legal
profession and its impact on the articulation of such issues as
they pertain to the law.
