Margaret V. Turano

Professor Turano has written a hornbook, New York Estate Administration (with Radigan, West Publishing Co. 1986, new edition Lexis Publishing 2001), and writes the Practice Commentaries for McKinney's Laws of New York, Surrogate's Court Procedure Act and Estates Powers and Trusts Law (eight volumes). She has also written articles in the area of Law and Literature and supervises the Writing Center at the law school (Room 2-06). Before joining the law faculty, she practiced with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in the Trusts and Estates department. Professor Turano teaches Law & Literature,Trusts & Estates, Estate Planning and Estate & Gift Taxes.
