Dale Margolin joined the School of Law in 2006 as the Child
Advocacy Clinic’s first Clinical Teaching Fellow. Prior to
coming to St. John’s, Ms. Margolin was a Skadden Fellow at the
Legal Aid Society, Juvenile Rights Division in New York City, where
she represented adolescents in foster care, with a particular focus
on pregnant and parenting clients. Ms. Margolin has trained
and lectured on the legal rights of young people and how to most
effectively advocate for them. She has also written several
manuals for New York State Family Court practitioners and has
recently published an article in The Virginia Journal of Social
Policy and the Law concerning the Americans with Disabilities
Act and the rights of mentally disabled
parents."
