A Vibrant Intellectual Community
St. John's hosts multiple academic conferences each year, bringing leading scholars to the School of Law to exchange ideas and engage in scholarly dialogue. Our conferences and other academic programs are often the result of collaborations among our academic centers and our student-edited journals. For information on recent conferences, see these links:
Our colloquia and workshop series provides a forum for St. John's faculty and legal academics from around the country and the world to present their work to colleagues for feedback and discussion. Workshops take place on Mondays at 12:45 in the School of Law's Faculty Library. They are open to any and all interested legal academics. Contact Michael Perino, Associate Dean for Faculty Scholarship, if you would like to attend. Current and past workshop schedules can be found below.
