Professor Boyle has
been teaching at the law school since 1994. She currently
directs the Academic Success Program. She also teaches
first-year Legal Analysis, Writing and Research; upper-level
Drafting: Litigation Documents & Contracts; and Contracts I
(Summer Institute).
Recipient of 2005
Faculty Outstanding Achievement award from the President of St.
John’s University.
Her articles,
essays, and book chapters appear in both legal and other academic
publications. Recently, her co-written article on the
learning styles of law faculty and students was published in the
June 2006 issue of the Journal of Legal Education.
Prof. Boyle
presents regularly at national and international conferences on
topics concerning legal writing, academic support, and learning
styles. At the 2010 Association of American Law School annual
meeting, she moderated a panel for the Section on Academic
Support.
Prof. Boyle serves
as a liaison between the law school and the Bronx School of Law,
Government and Justice, an Urban Assembly school.
