Student Employment Rule

ABA Standard 304 (f) states the following: 

“A student may not engage in employment for more than 20 hours per week in any semester in which the student is enrolled in more than 12 class hours.”

In order for St. John’s to be able to certify that students enrolled in more than 12 class hours (ordinarily full-time students) are not working more than 20 hours a week, all full-time students must complete and sign a Certificate of Employment every semester.

The certificate should be submitted to the Receptionist on the fourth floor (Room 4-58) by Monday, August 25, 2008.
