Child Advocacy Clinic
If you are interested in enrolling in the Child Advocacy Clinic, you must schedule an interview with Professor Baum (baumj@stjohns.edu).  Please bring a cover letter, resume and unofficial transcript to the interview.  Please note:  the interview is a mandatory prerequisite for enrollment in the Child Advocacy Clinic.  (DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE ON THE WEB.)

Domestic Violence Litigation Clinic (Fall 2007-SPRING 2008)
If you are interested in enrolling in the Domestic Violence Litigation Clinic, you must schedule an interview with Professor Kim Susser (212) 613-5028. Please bring a cover letter, resume and unofficial transcript to the interview.  The interview is a mandatory prerequisite for enrollment in the Domestic Violence Litigation Clinic. Elder Law Clinic 
If you are interested in enrolling in the Elder Law Clinic, you must schedule an interview with Professors Goldweber and Calabrese.  The interview will be scheduled in room 2-26.  Please bring a cover letter, resume and unofficial transcript to the interview.  Please note:  the interview is a mandatory prerequisite for enrollment in the Elder Law Clinic.  (DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE ON THE WEB.)

General Externships
Admission to these courses will be determined by the Assistant Dean for Professional Skills, Keri Gould, based upon individual application from students.  To apply, students must read the pamphlet, “Help, I want to do an Externship (Fall 2008)”, complete the forms contained in the pamphlet and attach the necessary materials to the application form.  APPLICATIONS HAVE ALREADY BEEN ACCEPTED AND INTERVIEWS ALREADY HELD FOR THE FALL 2008 EXTERNSHIP PROGRAM.  STUDENTS WHO MISSED THE APPLICATION/INTERVIEW DEADLINE MUST SPEAK TO PROFESSOR GOULD (X2719), ABOUT POTENTIAL FALL EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES. Immigrant Tenant Advocacy Clinical Seminar and Placement 
(FALL 2008-SPRING 2009)

International Human Rights Externship

Prosecution Clinic (FALL 2008 – SPRING 2009)
To qualify, students must be entering their final year of law school.  Students must have completed Criminal Procedure I and Evidence or must take those courses in the Fall 2008 semester.  Students must commit to participating in the Prosecution Clinic for the full academic year 2008-2009.  Students who have been accepted for the Prosecution Clinic will be automatically registered.  (DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE ON THE WEB.)

Refugee and Immigrant Rights Clinic (FALL 2007-SPRING 2008)
If you are interested in enrolling in the Refugee and Immigrant Rights Clinic, you must schedule an interview with Professor Mario Russell.  Please contact him by email at mario.russell@archny.org and attach a cover letter, resume, unofficial transcript, and brief writing sample.  Please note:  the interview is a mandatory prerequisite for enrollment in the Refugee and Immigrant Rights Clinic.  (DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE ON REDPHONE OR THE WEB.)

Securities Arbitration Clinic
If you are interested in enrolling in the Securities Arbitration Clinic, you must schedule an interview with Professor Lisa Catalano.   Please submit a cover letter, resume, unofficial transcript and a writing sample at least 2 business days before your interview.  These materials may be submitted at the clinic located in Room 2-26.

Special Education Externship
This is a new externship course which seeks students for the fall 2008 semester. If you are interested in enrolling in the Special Education Externship, please contact Professor Gould at x 2179. Street Law Externship
Interviews for the Street Law Externship Program have already been conducted.  If you are interested in the program, however, you should contact Professor Montana directly via email because there may still be openings.
