The LL.M. Program in U.S. Legal Studies for Foreign Law School
Graduates is tailored for candidates from all over the world with
different legal backgrounds. It has been conceived as an
opportunity for foreign law school graduates and legal
professionals to come to St. John’s Law School and New York City to
acquire new skills in U.S. legal studies and gain eligibility to
apply for the New York Bar. The concept behind the LL.M. Program is
to provide foreign law graduates full exposure to the core subjects
of U.S. law. The Program will be an extraordinary experience where
students will have the opportunity to interact and exchange their
knowledge and experiences and build solid foundations in U.S. law.
Ultimately, the LL.M. Program adds a fundamental international and
United States law component to the students’ legal and global
arsenal.
At the conclusion of their studies, St. John’s LL.M. students
will be fully qualified to gain eligibilty to apply for the New
York State Bar Exam. More importantly, they will be fully
qualified to take advantage the growing opportunities provided by
the global practice of law. St. John’s LL.M. in U.S. Legal
