Professor Heuer is a partner of the firm Duane Morris LLP and
practices in the field of bankruptcy, creditors’ rights and
financial restructuring. Professor Heuer represents debtors and
creditors alike, in both domestic and international bankruptcy
cases. Professor Heuer has been involved in a number of landmark
appeals before the Courts of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Professor Heuer is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the
Norton Journal of Bankruptcy Law and Practice and is a member of
the Advisory Board of the American College of Assisted Reproduction
and Adoption Lawyers. Professor Heuer received his B.A. from
S.U.N.Y. Buffalo (1991) and his J.D. from St. John’s University
School of Law (1997). While at St. John’s, Professor Heuer was an
editor for the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review.
Professor Heuer teaches Bankruptcy Jurisdiction with
Professor Garrity.
