Students participating in the Law School’s Rome Summer Program have a unique opportunity to study international and comparative law while exploring the historical, cultural and culinary delights of the Eternal City.

Open to J.D. candidates from all U.S. law schools, students from foreign law schools and foreign law graduates, the program is taught by St. John’s Law faculty and this year will include courses in:

European Legal History

To complement their classroom learning, students visit Italian courts and other legal institutions and engage in activities and events related to Roman art and history. The program is based at St. John’s beautiful and centrally located Rome campus at Via Marcantonio Colonna, 21, just a short walk north of Vatican City.
